Jan Emanuel, who recently started the Folklistan party, has announced the end of the movement after a disappointing performance in the EU elections.

Speaking at Almedalen, he revealed that the party received only 0.62 percent of the votes.

Emanuel is now seeking to rejoin the Social Democrats, having already completed the initial steps of the administrative process.

The end of Folklistan comes after a brief two-month run, with a few local branches still operating.
