The bear hunting quota in Jämtland County this year has been set at 121 bears, marking a 35% reduction compared to the previous year.
According to Gun Fahlander, chairwoman of the Jägareförbundet Mittnorrland, this decision was expected.
She calls for more frequent surveys to gain a clearer understanding of the bear population in the county.
