In the early hours of Thursday morning, a homeowner in Sävsjö was startled awake by the sound of intruders in her house.

Upon investigating, she encountered a man and subsequently witnessed two individuals fleeing the scene.

Despite her efforts to chase them, the perpetrators escaped.

A police dog unit later discovered stolen cleaning equipment along the escape route.

No arrests have been made, but the incident has been classified as theft through burglary.
