A 64-year-old German man has been arrested and charged with murder following the death of a fellow tourist in the waters off the coast of Gothenburg, Sweden.
The victim, also a German national, was found in the sea after reportedly falling overboard during a sailing trip.
Prosecutor Maria Thorell stated that the two men were friends who had participated in a sailing competition together in Norway before a dispute arose between them.
The incident prompted a large rescue operation, but the victim was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
The suspect, who denies the charges, is currently in custody and is expected to face trial soon.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
