A serious traffic accident involving a car that overturned on the E6 highway near Landskrona, in the northerly direction, has resulted in five individuals being transported to the hospital.

The incident, which occurred early Saturday afternoon, has caused significant disruptions to traffic, with the road initially closed in both directions.

Among the injured, a woman in her 40s has sustained serious injuries, as reported by Region Skåne.

Traffic in the southbound direction has since reopened, but northbound lanes remained closed for some time to facilitate cleanup and investigation efforts.

The road was expected to be fully reopened later in the day, according to officials.
