A man has died after a market stall toppled at the Kivik's Market on Österlen.

The incident occurred at 4:18 PM on Friday, the first day of the market, possibly due to strong winds.

Police have cordoned off the area and are investigating the accident as involuntary manslaughter.

Two individuals were hospitalized; one succumbed to severe injuries.

Kivik's chapel will stay open tonight for those affected.
