A series of explosions have occurred in residential areas in Gothenburg, Sweden, causing significant property damage and leading to multiple evacuations.
No physical injuries have been reported, but the police are treating the incidents as attempts of murder.
In two separate events, one in Majorna and one in Tynnered, explosives were detonated causing extensive damage to buildings and shattering windows.
In Majorna, the explosion took place at a gate in a courtyard while in Tynnered, it occurred next to a house, leading to the evacuation of around 30 residents.
In both instances, the National Bomb Group was called on site for an investigation.
The police are currently exploring possible connections to a traffic accident that occurred around the same time as the Majorna explosion, where a car collided with a tram and an individual fled the scene on an electric scooter.
