During the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, around 1,500 police officers were deployed, with half of them borrowed from other regions and about 50 from Norway and Denmark.
The total cost for this security operation was at least 22 million SEK.
Per Engström, the commanding officer, noted that this was a relatively lower cost compared to other events due to advanced planning and efficient personnel management.
He handed over a comprehensive evaluation of the operation to Justice Minister Gunnar Strömmer.
The final cost is expected to be slightly higher once all calculations are completed.
