The EU has reached a crucial agreement to preserve Sweden's unique A-tractors, vehicles popular among Swedish youth.
After intense negotiations, the EU Parliament decided to maintain the 15-year age limit for A-tractor licenses, rejecting a proposed increase to 16 years.
Additionally, the maximum speed limit for these vehicles will rise from 30 to 45 kilometers per hour.
This change is expected to improve traffic flow and reduce frustrations among other drivers.
Swedish students, like Frida Karlsson and Vidar Key from Eskilstuna, have welcomed the decision, highlighting its benefits for both young drivers and overall road safety.
The agreement marks a significant win for Sweden in maintaining its cultural and practical traditions.
