Ahead of the EU elections on June 9, 2024, Swedish public broadcaster SVT is inviting voters to engage directly with the leading candidates from various political parties in its program 'Toppkandidaterna'.

Hosted by Anna Hedenmo and David Boati, the show will be broadcast live from Umeå on May 15, featuring candidates such as Helene Fritzon (S), Alice Bah Kuhnke (MP), Alice Teodorescu Måwe (KD), and Karin Karlsbro (L), and from Malmö on May 22, showcasing Tomas Tobé (M), Charlie Weimers (SD), Emma Wiesner (C), and Jonas Sjöstedt (V).

Viewers are encouraged to submit questions to the candidates via email, offering a unique opportunity to question future EU parliamentarians about their policies and visions for Europe.
