A 19-year-old man was apprehended on the spot in Avesta and is now suspected of endangering another, attempted violence against an official, and violation of the law on flammable and explosive goods.

Furthermore, several fires broke out across the country, suspected to be caused by fireworks.

In Kristianstad, firefighters were shocked by an attack when they were extinguishing burning cars.

In addition to these incidents, several people sought care at the emergency department with injuries caused by fireworks.
