The introduction of the Millennium journal system at Södra Älvsborgs Hospital in Borås has sparked significant controversy.
Overläkare Wojciech Skup publicly criticized the system during a press conference, describing it as chaotic and a threat to patient safety.
He highlighted issues such as inadequate training and system complexity, which have led to delays in patient care.
Despite these concerns, hospital management, including Joakim Höstner, remains optimistic, citing future benefits like integrated patient data.
However, the system's lack of CE-marking and initial technical glitches have fueled dissatisfaction among medical staff, some of whom have resigned in protest.
