Johan Floderus, the Swedish EU diplomat, has opened up about his 790 days of captivity in Iran in his first interview with TV4 Nyheterna.
Accused of espionage during a vacation, Floderus was detained at Tehran airport and spent a significant time in the notorious Evin Prison.
In a swap deal with Iran, he was released alongside Saaed Azizi, exchanged for Hamid Noury, who is serving a life sentence in Sweden.
While he now enjoys being with his family, he still has vivid dreams of his time in prison.
