The series, based on a decade of research, includes interviews with gang members who justify the recruitment of minors to avoid "dirtying their own hands".
The investigation also highlights a thwarted murder plan in Upplands Väsby, showcasing the meticulous planning involved and the eventual capture of the young assassin by police.
"Skyttarna" sheds light on a disturbing aspect of gang criminality and the plight of these young recruits.
