A boy has tragically died in Södertälje, and a man, believed to be the child's father, has been arrested in connection with the death.

Police were called to an apartment in Södertälje on Monday, and upon arrival, they found the boy severely injured.

Despite being airlifted to the hospital, the boy's life could not be saved.

The man present in the apartment was arrested and is now under suspicion.

The apartment has been cordoned off for technical examination, and information gathering procedures are ongoing, including door-to-door inquiries.

The relatives have been informed.
