Residents of Bollnäs can now safely drink tap water again after recent concerns over water safety.
The alarm was raised following a break-in at a local water reservoir, leading to fears of contamination.
Authorities had advised boiling water as a precaution while tests were conducted.
Fortunately, the tests confirmed the water is safe for consumption, bringing relief to the community.
Meanwhile, police are investigating the incident as suspected sabotage and are seeking public assistance for any information.
Despite the presence of surveillance cameras at the site, they were found to be non-functional, complicating the investigation.
