A dramatic villa fire in Rosvik, near Piteå, led to the evacuation of five nearby homes due to the discovery of gas canisters posing an explosion risk.

The fire, which started in a garage connected to the house, quickly engulfed the property.

A woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of arson, with witnesses claiming she intentionally ignited the blaze.

She was taken into custody overnight, and police confirmed she inhaled smoke and was sent to the hospital for evaluation.

Emergency services allowed the villa to burn down under controlled conditions while monitoring the situation.
