Around 60 women have come forward accusing the late Mohamed al-Fayed, former owner of Harrods, of sexual assault and rape.

These allegations have emerged following a BBC documentary that highlighted claims of abuse by al-Fayed against women who worked at Harrods from the 1980s onwards.

The legal representatives of the accusers have stated that the response has been overwhelming, with more survivors coming forward.

Efforts are now underway to compile allegations against Harrods for enabling systematic abuse over a 25-year period, particularly involving al-Fayed's personal assistants and secretaries.
