Johan Floderus, a Swedish EU official, spent 790 days imprisoned in Iran's notorious Evin Prison.
Floderus was detained at an airport in 2022 during a visit to Iran, accused falsely of espionage and other charges.
Despite the grave accusations, including a call for the death penalty, he was eventually released and returned to Sweden in June 2023. Floderus speaks about his ordeal of isolation in a small cell and the mental struggle he faced.
Now back in Sweden, he is slowly readjusting to everyday life but remains haunted by his traumatic experience.
