On Easter Saturday, 64-year-old Lena from Mörbylånga hit the jackpot by winning 1.8 million kronor on a scratch card during a TV4 Nyhetsmorgon show.
The win, described by Lena as "unbelievable," was the result of a scratch card bought with winnings from previous scratch cards gifted by her grandchildren for Christmas.
Lena plans to spoil her grandchildren and herself with the windfall, expressing gratitude for the unexpected fortune.
This isn't the first time Mörbylånga has been lucky; a neighbor of Lena's won a large prize in 2005, hinting at a streak of good fortune in the small community.
